Are you highly detail-oriented with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences? We’re looking for a motivated and organised Room Checker to support our Housekeeping Supervisors and Executive Housekeeper in ensuring every guest room meets the highest standards before guest arrival. You will play a key part in maintaining quality and consistency across our rooms, making sure each space is clean, complete, and warm and welcoming for our guests. Attention to detail, structure, and a methodical approach are crucial.
What You’ll Do
• Assist the Housekeeping Supervisors and Executive Housekeeper in daily operations
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
• Verify that all cleaning tasks have been completed thoroughly and correctly
• Ensure rooms are fully stocked, well-presented, and guest-ready before check-in
• Identify and report maintenance or repair issues promptly
• Maintain guest privacy and room security at all times
• Work closely with the housekeeping team, Front Office, and Maintenance departments
• Support housekeeping duties when required, including:
◦ Changing linens and towels
◦ Cleaning bathrooms
◦ Dusting and vacuuming
◦ Removing garbage and recyclables
• Help promote a positive and supportive team culture
• Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Take on additional tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the department
What You Bring
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 lbs
• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset, but not essential
