We're Looking for a Room Attendant!

Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and organization of our guest rooms and hotel areas.

Your attention to detail will help us ensure that every guest arrives in a welcoming, spotless, and memorable environment.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, prepare, and inspect guest rooms following checkouts and during guests' stays.
  • Change bed linen, sheets, and pillowcases according to hotel standards.
  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect bathrooms.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floors in excellent condition.
  • Replenish toiletries, amenities, towels, and other essential supplies.
  • Coordinate with the Front Desk and Housekeeping teams to prioritize room cleaning according to occupancy and operational needs.
  • Clean and maintain common areas and restrooms when required.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items.
  • Use departmental systems and tools, including HubOS, when required.
  • Comply with all health and safety, hygiene, maintenance, and emergency procedures.
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions, and interdepartmental meetings.
  • Support colleagues by covering breaks, absences, vacations, or operational needs.
  • Participate in community initiatives and activities connected to Yurbban Hospitality Group's social responsibility goals.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Department Head.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar hospitality role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of professional cleaning and maintenance practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and clear, respectful communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and attentive during busy or demanding periods.
  • Flexibility to support different areas of the hotel according to operational needs.
  • Additional language skills will be considered an asset.

Physical Requirements

This is an active position that requires the ability to:

  • Stand and walk throughout an eight-hour shift.
  • Bend, twist, reach, climb, push, pull, and carry objects safely.
  • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Push or pull up to 150 lbs. using the appropriate equipment
  • Handle cleaning equipment, supplies, boxes, and hotel materials safely.

Personal Protective Equipment may be required for certain duties. The company will provide the necessary equipment and training.

Schedule

  • Full availability for morning and afternoon shifts.
  • Eight-hour shifts may be scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m.
  • Weekend and holiday availability is required.
  • Working hours may vary according to the hotel's occupancy and operational needs.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

FLSA Classification

Hourly, non-exempt position.
