About us

Holiday Inn Werribee is situated in the heart of the Werribee city centre, being the talk of the town for Werribee and surrounds. The hotel occupies the top four floors of the mixed use 12 storey premises and boasts sweeping views right across to the You Yangs and Wyndham Harbour. The hotel offers 150 stylishly appointed guest rooms and suites, gym, outdoor garden courtyard, all day dining in our Rosana Bistro & Bar and a large, versatile conference and events spaces.

A Little Taste of Your Day to Day

• You’ll make sure our rooms and hotel public spaces are always at their best ensuring brand standards are delivered. It’s down to you to make that room special and memorable for guests.

• Ensure every room meets the cleanliness standards of IHG’s Clean Promise

• Help guests - you’ll be happy to help if someone needs a toothbrush or directions for example

• Keep your supervisor updated on room servicing progress and alert them on any maintenance repairs needed

• Be safety aware by always following our established safety procedures such as manual handling and wearing protective equipment when needed

• Be organised - keep on top of supplies and amenities and always try to minimise waste

• Reunite items with owners and report/log any lost and found property

• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service

• Regularly assist with deep cleaning projects and other ad hoc tasks

What we need from You

• It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet during your shift, so fitness is important

• Strength – you’ll need to push housekeeping and equipment trolleys on a daily basis Occasionally you may be required to push and lift furniture items with safe manual handling using of trolleys and maneuvering equipment

• You’ll need to bend and kneel to complete some activities

• Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic math's skills

• Excellent communication verbal and written

• Flexible availability to shifts – early mornings 8.30 am start, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays are all part of the job

• Valid Australian Working rights (Sponsorship not available)
