Pullman at Sydney Olympic Park is seeking reliable and enthusiastic night shift Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping Team. Reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper, you will play an important role in ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable, welcoming and memorable stay.

This is a casual night position, working 5 days per week from 6:30pm to 8:30pm

As a night shift Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and comfort of our guest rooms. You will carry out evening housekeeping duties, including turndown service, while ensuring all areas meet Pullman brand standards.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Service and refresh guest rooms to the highest hotel standards, ensuring there is no history of pre occupation.
  • Carry out evening turndown service.
  • Report maintenance issues and repair requirements promptly and as per hotel procedure.
  • Maintain housekeeping storerooms and trolleys in a clean, organised and well stocked condition
  • Complete deep cleaning tasks as required
  • Follow hotel procedure for lost property
  • Ensure the security of guest rooms, keys and hotel property at all times
  • Safely use and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with WHS requirements

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is trustworthy, dependable and takes pride in delivering quality work every shift.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous housekeeping, room attendant or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • A high level of trustworthiness, honesty and reliability
  • Strong communication skills with fluent spoken English.
  • Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role including tasks such as walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and major event periods when required
  • Full Australian working rights
