About the Role

Silky Oaks Lodge is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team, set within the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest. As a Room Attendant at

Silky Oaks Lodge, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a beautifully presented and immaculately maintained retreat throughout their stay.

Accommodation support not available for this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Servicing guest rooms, suites and public areas to the highest standard
  • Making beds, replenishing amenities and restocking linen and supplies
  • Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or damage promptly
  • Following housekeeping procedures and checklists accurately and efficiently
  • Handling guest belongings with care and discretion
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of back-of-house areas
  • Adhering to health, safety and hygiene standards at all times

About You

You are a hardworking and conscientious hospitality professional who takes pride in creating a spotless and welcoming environment for every guest.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or room attendant role
  • Experience in a luxury, boutique or 5-star accommodation environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard of presentation
  • A reliable and positive attitude with the ability to work independently
  • The ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
  • Current Australian working rights
