The Position

We are looking for a Room Attendant to join our team at Crest Hotel Suites in Miami Beach.

As a Room Attendant, you will play an essential role in creating a comfortable, welcoming, and memorable experience for our guests. Your attention to detail, commitment to cleanliness, and teamwork will help ensure that every room meets our quality and hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean, prepare, and maintain guest rooms according to hotel cleanliness and quality standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure rooms are properly prepared for guest arrivals.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, furniture, floors, and other guest room areas.
• Replenish guest amenities, toiletries, towels, and other essential room supplies.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or restocking needs.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or repair requests through the hotel's work order system.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining common areas when required.
• Coordinate with Front Office and other departments to ensure efficient room turnover and smooth daily operations.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures, including the proper use of cleaning products and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies in good condition.
• Support the team during busy periods, including assisting with shift coverage when operationally required.
• Perform other housekeeping-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel cleaning, or a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safe handling of cleaning products.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other team members.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a guest-oriented mindset.
• Ability to communicate in English, Spanish, or Haitian Creole.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, according to operational needs.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. and push or pull up to 150 lbs. with appropriate equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Salary: $15 per hour
• Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays according to operational needs.
• Reports to: Facility Manager
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• FLSA Classification: Non-exempt
