A hotel housekeeper is responsible for keeping rooms and public spaces clean and sanitary for guests. A housekeeper ensures that guests have a clean and home away from home experience while a guest at the hotel.

· Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
· Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service
· Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
· Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs/pack and play, cots, extra towels, etc.
· Secure and document lost and found items
· Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
· Reports necessary maintenance items.
· Follows departmental policies and procedures.
· Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
· Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
· Performs additional duties as needed.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
· Highly responsible and reliable.
· Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
· Must wear proper uniform attire.
· You will occasionally interact with the public and supervisors throughout the day.
· Usually, you will work indoors when cleaning. In some cases, you may be outdoors when cleaning the balconies or other outdoor spaces.
· Will be exposed to contaminants, cleaning products, diseases, or infections.
· Hotels operate 24/7 therefore schedules may at times fluctuate based on the needs of the business.
· May work as part of a team.
· Standing, walking, bending, stretching, twist, or lifting as much as 25lbs. throughout your scheduled shift.
