Job Category: Hospitality - HotelWe are looking for a Housekeeping Attendant to join the team! Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper and general manager, your role is to consistently deliver a comfortable and inviting guest experience through thorough maintenance of guest rooms and public space with attention to detail and guest satisfaction. This role requires a high-level of attention to detail and a commitment to providing a clean and comfortable environment for guests.

Essential Duties:
- Clean guest rooms and public areas, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
- Replenish supplies in guest rooms, including towels, linens, soap, and shampoos.
- Report any maintenance issues or missing items to the appropriate department.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Follow all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Role may require the ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, push or pull a cart, sit, stock shelves, climb stairs or a ladder, bend, reach above your head or below your knees, kneel, use a computer for a significant amount of time each day, and to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance.

Specific Requirements of this role:
- Vacuum, clean, dust and polish guest rooms.
- Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries.
- Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets) as required.
- Effectively communicate issues to Executive Housekeeper and Assistant General Manager with regards to room maintenance, service requests, special guest requests.
- Deposit linens into appropriate areas.
- Follow established procedures for the handling of lost and found.
- Turn mattress, as may be directed by supervisors or management.
- Stock supplies, inventory supplies and maintain a well-stocked and tidy cart.
- Assist with the unloading of supply deliveries and proper stocking or storage of items.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in a similar role, such as housekeeping or janitorial work preferred.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing a clean and comfortable environment for guests.
- Able to provide a professional and welcoming demeanor to guests and staff at all times.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
