ibis Budget Melbourne Airport offers 73 rooms and is situated just 400m from Melbourne Airport. With its convenient location, this affordable Melbourne Airport hotel is the ideal choice for visitors flying into Melbourne late at night or flying out early in the morning.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wanting to join the dynamic hotel industry in an entry level role. If you have previous experience in housekeeping in hotels or in commercial cleaning, together with a natural ability to surprise and delight our guests, we would love to hear from you.

Key duties include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning guest rooms; including bedrooms, bathrooms, floors, and corridors to the hotel's standards for guest arrivals
• Ensuring towels and linen are refilled, replaced and stored correctly
• Performing any basic maintenance, or report and coordinate major maintenance requirements
• Using appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes ensuring safe work practices are maintained
• Ensuring high standards of property presentation, hygiene and cleanliness

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role - whilst this is a smaller property it is extremely busy!
• A friendly, customer focused attitude with the drive to provide total customer satisfaction
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences
• Good communication and time management skills with a friendly personality
• Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays
