Working Calendar: 261 Days/ 8 Hours

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Repairs roof and flashing. Repairs gutters and downspouts. Sheet metal fabrication.

As per Board-approved 2026-2027 salary placement rules/schedules.

Roofing Technician III

Salary Schedule: 1B, Grade 11

Estimated starting hourly range: $23.51 - $31.50

**Subject to experience verification

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Five (5) years of successful experience in roofs and sheet metal

Knowledge of all types of roof installation and repairs

Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and installation

Ability to set up and operate sheet metal equipment

Physically able to climb and work in high places on all types of scaffolds, ladders and lifts

Valid driver's license

Effective communication skills

Roofing Technician II

Salary Schedule 1B, Grade 7

Estimated starting hourly range: $21.84 - $29.22

**Subject to experience verification

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Three (3) years of successful experience in roofs and sheet metal

Knowledge of all types of roof installation and repairs

Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and installation

Physically able to climb and work in high places on all types of scaffolds, ladders and lifts

Valid driver's license

Roofing Technician I

Salary Schedule: 1B, Grade 5

Estimated starting hourly range: $18.64 - $25.02
