About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Supervisor to join our Facilities Services Division. In this role, you will oversee the assessment, inspection, and documentation of roofing systems across District sites. Your expertise will help determine the overall condition, service life, and repair/replacement needs of roofing systems, ensuring the safety and longevity of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, survey, and assess roofing systems and components across District sites.
• Enter and manage building data using tablets, laptops, and other digital tools.
• Apply construction knowledge to evaluate roof systems, even those hidden behind ceilings and walls.
• Determine remaining service life (RSL) of roofing components with guidance from leadership.
• Collaborate with survey teams to gather accurate measurements, specifications, and condition data.
• Conduct ad hoc roofing surveys and provide recommendations on repairs or replacement.
• Supervise staff or survey participants as needed, ensuring quality and compliance.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management; OR
• At least 10 years of roofing/construction experience (4 years of which may substitute for degree).
• 6+ years of full-time experience with on-site construction management teams.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, construction materials, and repair practices.
• Excellent communication skills to work with administrators, staff, and survey teams.
