The Roll Shop Lead plays a key role in ensuring the safety, quality, and production performance of the Rolling Mill process. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of procuring, scheduling, and maintaining Roll Shop equipment—with safety as the highest priority. The Roll Shop Lead will oversee the daily operations of the Roll Shop, while fostering the growth and development of their direct team. Success in this role requires continuous learning and cross-training within the Rolling Mill and other departments, supporting both day-to-day operations and the overall success of the division. Building strong relationships with mill, maintenance, and sales teams is critical, as is taking a collaborative approach to leadership, team development, and process improvement in alignment with Nucor Steel Marion’s goals.
