The Manager, Roll Outsourcing & Procurement Optimization is responsible for establishing and leading a centralized outsourcing function for roll repair activities across North America. This role is designed to alleviate internal capacity constraints, improve turnaround times, and enhance overall operational efficiency by leveraging qualified external vendors.
In addition, the position plays a key role in supporting shop procurement activities by improving parts availability, reducing lead times, and optimizing inventory management. The role operates as an extension of internal shop capabilities, effectively functioning as a “virtual shop” to drive throughput, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
