Waste Pro Roll-Off Drivers safely deliver, remove, and transport large containers for commercial customers while providing outstanding customer service and maintaining safety standards at all times.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Safely operate Roll-Off trucks and equipment to deliver and remove containers for commercial customers
• Secure containers using hooks, straps, and tarps as required
• Provide professional, courteous, and efficient customer service during all interactions
• Communicate customer concerns or service requests to Customer Service or Sales Representatives when necessary
• Operate compaction and lifting equipment safely and efficiently
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with Waste Pro policies and DOT regulations
• Perform daily DVIR and Safety Lane inspections, including checking fluid levels, tires, undercarriage, and vehicle systems
• Maintain truck cleanliness, including routine washing and inspections
• Follow all company safety procedures, traffic laws, and operational guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid Class A or Class B CDL for the state in which the position operates
• Clean driving record required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety standards
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork
• Must be able to speak, read, and communicate effectively in English with customers, dispatch, supervisors, and team members
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and work in varying weather and environmental conditions
• Must meet hearing and vision requirements with or without reasonable accommodation

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Attend and participate in company-sponsored training and safety programs

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to independently push or pull up to 50 pounds multiple times throughout the workday
• Ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds from ground level to waist height on a frequent basis
• Ability to safely enter and exit the cab of a commercial vehicle repeatedly throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance when required
• Ability to frequently bend, kneel, squat, and perform repetitive physical movements during daily operations
• Ability to safely reach overhead and secure tarps using a tarp pole and moderate pulling force
• Ability to climb heights up to 8 feet to deploy and secure tarping equipment
• Ability to work extended shifts of 8–12 hours in varying outdoor weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, and snow

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Work is performed outdoors in a variety of environmental conditions and weather elements
• Exposure to noise, vibrations, dust, odors, fumes, and changing temperatures is common
• Position requires working around heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, and active service routes while maintaining a strong commitment to safety procedures
