Job Summary: Kwajalein

Job Summary:

The ROI Dock Security Checkpoint Lieutenant supervises small groups of guards or assumes positions requiring greater responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handles all personnel and visitors arriving to or departing from Roi-Namur by marine vessels.
  • Supervises small groups of guards
  • Supervises small group of Local National (LN) Access Control Officers
  • Ensures adequate manning is provided during mission activities
  • Ensures that all assigned guard posts are staffed, monitoring performance of assigned guard force personnel
  • Ensures that all guard personnel are aware of and abide by all Post and general orders

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have an active U.S. Secret Clearance
  • Minimum 3 years of security management experience in supervisory and/or management roles
  • Must obtain USAKA “B” Boat certification NLT 30 days after assuming duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASIS CPP certification is preferred.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:

  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
