Location: White City, OR

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 P.M

Additional work on other days may be required as needed.

Starting Pay: $28.00-$31.00/hr DOE

Probationary Period: 90 Days

Drug and alcohol testing: Subject to pre-employment drug testing and random selection drug and alcohol testing per DOT requirements and Company policy.

We are seeking a skilled Millwright with strong plumbing and electrical experience to support maintenance and repair operations at our facilities. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment and site systems critical to daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and fix equipment used in waste processing and disposal
  • Perform plumbing work, including repairing leaks, replacing pipes, and working on pumps, drains, and valves
  • Troubleshoot and fix electrical issues, including motors, wiring, panels, sensors, and site lighting
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and piping schematics to ensure accurate installations and repairs
  • Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment running and prevent breakdowns
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and work with the crew to keep operations running smoothly, while tracking completed work
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
  • Assist with upkeep of water and environmental control systems
  • Follow safety rules and environmental regulations at all times
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections

Work Environment & Physical Effort:

  • Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
  • Back, leg, arm and shoulder strength required to safely climb in, on and around vehicles to inspect and repair.
  • Ability to work in awkward, tight, or restricted spaces for extended periods of time; Requires the ability to sit, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl, and be able to get up and down from a supine position.
  • Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts which require following basic safety precautions.
  • The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving Record. (Required)
  • Must pass criminal background check, drug panel screening and motor vehicle report to be eligible for employment.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Millwright or Industrial Maintenance Technician
  • Strong hands-on experience with plumbing systems and electrical troubleshooting
  • Vocational training in Welding
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, and industrial equipment
  • Familiarity with safety standards and environmental regulations in industrial settings
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor environments year-round
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend reports to complete daily assignments in English.
  • Experience in waste management, landfill operations, or similar heavy industry a plus!
