Job Description

What to Expect

Interested in being a Technical Program Manager to aggressively drive electro-mechanical innovation in low voltage distribution (PCBAs, custom connectors, harness assemblies)? Join Tesla's Optimus team in this high-energy, high-visibility role where you'll execute agile program management—focusing on action-packed timelines, stakeholder impact matrices, and cross-functional orchestration to smash milestones in dynamic, high-stakes environments. Prioritize outcomes, mitigate risks, and deliver game-changing results that propel Tesla's robotics revolution.

What You’ll Do

  • Spearhead end-to-end LV distribution program execution for robotic systems, R&D prototypes, and data hardware via matrixed teams (ME/EE design incl. actuation, compute, vision; Integration, Firmware, Test, EMC, Sourcing, NPI)—ensuring on-time deliverables and proactive risk mitigation
  • Accelerate alignment on high-power, high-speed, noise-sensitive subsystems, bridging on-BOT/off-BOT electronics with actionable templates, rigorous documentation, and maturity checkpoints—fueling measurable program wins
  • Optimize resourcing via cost/quality/time impact matrices, enabling swift, data-driven decisions that deliver accelerated timelines and minimized risks
  • Champion R&D lab operations for distribution elements: prioritize workflows, orchestrate high-velocity trial builds, and scale throughput for peak efficiency and output
  • Innovate documentation ecosystems for seamless program tracking, specs, and knowledge sharing—driving rapid adaptations and collaborative breakthroughs

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years in technical program management with stellar results in low voltage distribution, robotics, or hardware electronics—showcasing a bias for action in complex project delivery
  • Degree in Electrical or Robotics Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with CATIA, JIRA, Confluence, Thinkcell for agile visualization, tracking, reporting, and proactive issue resolution
  • Multi-track execution in matrixed setups (Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance)
  • Elite communication skills to transform requirements into high-impact actions, risk mitigations, and velocity-boosting plans
