What You Will Do
- Develop and implement computer vision algorithms for perception and localization in robotic systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions into hardware platforms.
- Optimize algorithms for real-time performance and accuracy in dynamic environments.
- Conduct testing and validation of software components to ensure reliability and robustness.
- Analyze system performance metrics and iterate on designs to improve functionality.
- Contribute to the development of embedded firmware that supports vision processing tasks.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically in robotics or computer vision.
- Proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with OpenCV for image processing and computer vision tasks.
- Strong understanding of algorithms related to perception and localization in robotic applications.
Preferred
- Experience with embedded systems and firmware development.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to computer vision.
- Knowledge of robotics frameworks such as ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Previous work in agricultural technology or related fields.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $130K to $250K, complemented by equity options between 0.1% and 0.25%. This company offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of robotics and AI.
