What are my responsibilities?

* Design and develop collision detection and avoidance capabilities for robotic motion planning

* Develop and optimize redundancy resolution strategies for complex robotic systems

* Implement singularity detection, avoidance, and recovery mechanisms

* Design and enhance trajectory generation and optimization algorithms

* Evaluate motion trajectory smoothness, continuity, and feasibility requirements

* Define, select, and validate kinematic solution strategies and motion execution options

What do I need to qualify for this job?

* BSc., MSc., or PhD. in Mechatronics Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

* Proven track record with 5+ years of professional software development experience

* Strong experience in robotics and motion planning algorithms, including sampling-based planning, optimization-based planning, trajectory generation, collision detection, swept-volume analysis, and motion feasibility assessment

* Experience in robot kinematics, inverse kinematics, redundancy resolution, null-space control, singularity analysis and avoidance, and joint and Cartesian motion constraints

* Experience in real-time and reactive motion planning, predictive control techniques, dynamic environment modeling, and high-performance computing for robotics applications

* Strong experience with C++ software development, performance optimization, multi-threaded systems, benchmarking, profiling, and robotics software frameworks and libraries

* Experience with robotics middleware and motion planning frameworks such as MoveIt, OMPL, ROS/ROS 2, Pinocchio, Drake, or comparable technologies

* Experience with robotic simulation and digital validation environments, including physics-based verification of motion planning solutions using tools such as Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, or similar platforms

* Familiarity with modern GPU-accelerated computing technologies and scalable software architectures for robotics applications is a plus

* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams

* Knowledge of and experience with Scrum and Agile development methodologies is an advantage

* Very good command of English

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills

* No restriction for travelling abroad
