This Position reports to:

Sales Manager

Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of ABB's Robotics business across Central Region of Mexico. You will develop strategic customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and promote innovative robotics solutions that help customers improve productivity, quality, and competitiveness.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.

This role contributes to the Robotics Business Unit, supporting customers and business development activities across Central Mexico, including Mexico City, Estado de México, Tlaxcala, Hidalgo, Puebla, and Morelos.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, communicating effectively regarding delivery schedules, payment terms, and commercial conditions in alignment with ABB's strategy and offerings.
  • Drive sales growth by promoting ABB's robotics solutions and clearly articulating their value proposition to customers.
  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities and market segments within the assigned territory.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and forecasts while ensuring accurate CRM management and reporting.
  • Support cash collection activities and collaborate with project execution teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, motion, machine building, packaging, manufacturing technologies, or related industrial markets.
  • Proven track record of developing new business opportunities and managing complex B2B sales cycles with industrial customers and system integrators.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing industries such as automotive, food & beverage, consumer goods, packaging, logistics, life sciences, electronics, general manufacturing, or related sectors.
  • Fluent in Spanish with professional working proficiency in English.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), sales forecasting, pipeline management, account planning, and opportunity qualification methodologies.
  • Passion for customer relationship development, consultative selling, negotiation, and value-based selling.
  • Availability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license required; a valid U.S. visa is preferred
