Operations Transformation Manager
ABB Robotics is looking for a Robotics Production System (RPS) Leaderto join our Operations team in Västerås. RPS is ABB Robotics’ production system and foundation for operational excellence, enabling a cost-effective, waste-free, efficient, flexible, and innovative manufacturing environment based on Lean and World Class Manufacturing principles.
As we continue our successful productivity improvement journey, you will play a key role in driving the implementation and development of RPS across our Swedish operations. You will work closely with a highly engaged organization characterized by a strongimprovementmindset, ownership, and a collaborative "can-do" culture.
Reporting to the Manager Business Office, you will contribute to both our current factory operations and the ongoing development of Robotics Campus Sweden, our newstate-of-the-artmanufacturing facility spanning more than65,000 m² in Västerås.
We are looking for a passionate and hands-on improvement leader who thrives on coaching, implementing change, and enabling others to succeed.
Yourresponsibilities
Lead the continued implementation and development of the Robotics Production System (RPS) within ABB RoboticsfactoryinSweden
Develop,maintain, and drive the factory's RPS roadmap and implementation plan.
Train, coach, and support managers and teams in Lean manufacturing principles, methods, and tools.
Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and drive a culture of operational excellence.
Plan, prepare, and coordinate RPS audits to ensure sustainable implementation and recognize achieved improvements.
Support the transition and optimization of production processes as part of the Robotics Campus Sweden journey.
Collaborate with ABB Robotics factories globally to exchange best practices andleverageshared learning across the organization.
Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
5-10years of experiencein production engineering, production development, continuous improvement, or a similar operational excellence role.
Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, World Class Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience leading improvement initiatives and driving change in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all organizational levels.
A proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset with a strong drive to achieve results.
Experience in production assembly, quality management, and project management is considered an advantage.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Swedish ishighlybeneficial
Strong senseof ownership, accountability, and a passion for continuous improvement.
