We are seeking a talented Robotics Application Engineer to design, customize, and support the deployment of advanced robotic applications tailored to real-world industrial needs. In this role, you will act as the critical link between our development team and end-users, ensuring our robotic systems perform flawlessly in dynamic environments. Your work will focus on adapting software and hardware for specific use cases, testing solutions in the field, and providing technical expertise to optimize system performance for complex tasks such as bin-picking and item manipulation.
Design
Debug and resolve application-level issues, collaborating with hardware and software teams as needed.
Adapt and optimize robotic systems for specific client applications, including path planning, perception, and object manipulation.
Create and implement task-specific workflows, configurations, and behaviors for robotic systems.
Develop user-friendly interfaces and tools to simplify system operation for end-users.
Optimization
Conduct on-site testing of robotic applications to validate performance and ensure reliability.
Continuously iterate on applications to meet evolving client needs and improve performance.
Provide technical support and hands-on training to clients and operators.
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
Document application workflows and create detailed user guides.
Education and Experience
3+ years of experience in robotics application development or integration.
Strong programming skills in Python and C++, with experience in task-level software development.
Experience working with clients to implement and refine robotic solutions.
Skills
Proficiency with ROS 2 and simulation tools like Gazebo or RViz.
Hands-on experience with robotic arms, grippers, and vision systems.
Strong understanding of motion planning, perception systems, and kinematics.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application-level issues in both lab and field settings.
