Pay: $18.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: 1st Shift - 6am - 2:30pm

Job Overview

Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with an established manufacturing company seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Robotic Welder to join its team in Hartland, WI.

This position is responsible for operating large-scale CNC robotic welding equipment, interpreting blueprints and weld symbols, and preparing components for accurate and efficient welding operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or welding environment, strong blueprint reading skills, basic shop math knowledge, and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols to determine welding requirements.
• Take accurate measurements and plan welding layouts and procedures.
• Determine appropriate welding equipment and methods based on project specifications.
• Set up, position, and prepare components for robotic welding operations.
• Operate large-scale CNC robotic welding machines to produce quality welded components.
• Inspect completed welds and finished parts to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Perform grinding, sanding, and finishing work as needed.
• Assist with additional production tasks during machine cycle times and downtime, including press brake operations and general shop duties.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or production issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and housekeeping requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols.
• Basic shop math skills and ability to take accurate measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to identify errors and ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous welding, robotic welding, or CNC equipment experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push or pull equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive movements as needed.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery and industrial equipment.
• Must have adequate vision and depth perception to inspect welds, read drawings, and operate equipment.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and factory environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment.
• May involve occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and humid conditions.
• Work environment may be loud and requires adherence to established safety procedures and use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
