Essential skills
RPA Tool Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one major RPA platform:
UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Power Automate
- Ability to design, build, and deploy automation workflows.
Programming & Scripting Knowledge
- Understanding of at least one programming/scripting language such as:
C#, VB.NET, Python, or JavaScript
- Basic SQL skills for data access and manipulation.
Process Analysis & Design
- Ability to analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Proficiency in creating Process Design Documents (PDD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD).
- Strong understanding of workflow logic, exception handling, and error management.
System & Application Knowledge
- Experience integrating automation with web, desktop, Excel, email, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Familiarity with APIs and data formats (JSON, XML).
Testing & Deployment
- Ability to perform unit testing, UAT support, and manage bot deployment to production.
- Understanding of version control (Git, SVN) and CI/CD principles.

Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent qualification), ideally in a numerate or computing related subject OR, equivalent business/working experience.
- Background in Mathematics or Engineering will also be advantageous.
- Ideally ISEB/ISTQB qualified.
- API Beginner Learning Path Certification, Advance Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism & Python for Data Science, AI & development
