We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Road Marking Coordinator to join our team in Invercargill. Working closely with the Roadmarking Manager you will have your finger on the pulse. You’ll know, and probably more importantly, anticipate, what’s coming up and be two steps ahead, making sure that the region hums.

People are at the heart of everything we do, therefore, you will ensure that key stakeholder relationships are enhanced and good working relationships within the teams are developed and maintained, actively fostering a “best for Downer NZ” approach.

No two days will be same, you’ll be involved in everything from:

  • Base and site management

  • Daily contract administration

  • Site visits

  • Network audits (including the occasional annual night audits)

  • Drafting and preparing reports

  • Inventory ordering and control

  • Client meetings and correspondence

  • Supporting and driving a culture of zero harm

We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in people management, including leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams. In addition to this you will also have excellent communication skills, be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to attention to detail, have great time management skills, a willingness to get stuck in whatever is required, and be flexible in your working approach while developing relationships at all levels.

Other key skills/experience:

  • Experience of providing good quality administration support
  • Previous experience with financial reporting processes
  • Customer focused with the ability to deliver value-driven solutions
  • Knowledge and understanding of Roadmarking operations within the civil and infrastructure sector would be an advantage

  • Current driver’s license
