We are currently recruiting for permanent and temporary Road Workers across Newcastle district to meet current operational needs. This Talent Pool will be used to fill permanent and fixed term opportunities (up to Aug 2027) as they become available in accordance with project and operational demands. This is a great opportunity to gain experiences in our Network Construction and Maintenance crews. These positions are located across Newcastle district.

You will live within a 100 km radius from the appointed base (depot) and are prepared to work outside normal working hours, attend callouts, travel across the district and work away from home when needed.
About you:
You must hold the following tickets/ Licence's
Traffic Control tickets and Truck Licence (Medium Rigid) up to (Heavy Rigid) are preferred but not essential.
You must have previous experience as a Road Worker Grade 1- 3 level or related civil construction labouring experience. Please refer to the position description below for more detail.
