Job Title: Road Service Tire Technician

McCarthy Tire Service is seeking a Road Service Tire Technician to join our team in Reading, Pennsylvania. This role involves performing tire service and repair work both in-shop and at customer locations. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a mobile service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires as directed by the Service Manager
• Provide roadside assistance and travel to customer locations for inspections and tire repairs
• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
• Participate in training programs and adhere to safety procedures and company standards
• Be available for on-call and night service as scheduled
• Complete additional duties as assigned

• Adapt to changing job duties and responsibilities as needed
• Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Experience with heavy-duty and commercial tires, including mounting and dismounting
