Road Operations Associate Hungary

Responsibilities

• Independently manage road freight shipments and handle related correspondence and communication in both English and Hungarian.
• Perform complete, accurate, and independent administration of organized transport operations.
• Prepare transport documentation, request freight rates, prepare quotations, and follow up on offers.
• Maintain relationships with customers, subcontractors, and partner offices.
• Expand and develop the subcontractor network.
• Cooperate closely with other departments, develop joint solutions, and apply a "thinking outside the box" mindset.
• Handle invoicing and coordinate outstanding receivables.

Requirements

• Minimum secondary education.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in road freight forwarding or freight operations.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Confident user of MS Office applications.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Confident and active English language skills (minimum intermediate level), including communication with partners and carriers, and participation in weekly/monthly operational review meetings.
