We are looking for a results-driven and highly organized Road Freight Operations Specialist (FTL/LTL) to join our Road Freight Operations team in Zemun, Belgrade.

The Road Freight Operations Specialist (FTL/LTL) will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and monitoring international road freight shipments from start to finish, with a particular focus on full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) operations. The role involves coordinating transport activities with customers and carriers, ensuring timely and efficient shipment execution, maintaining high service standards, and contributing to customer satisfaction through reliable and cost-effective transport solutions.

Responsibilites

• Organizing and coordinating international road freight shipments, including FTL and LTL, from collection to final delivery, while monitoring transport progress and ensuring timely execution.
• Communicating and collaborating with customers, carriers, agents and other business partners, providing timely updates on shipment status, potential delays and changes to transport schedules.
• Requesting and analyzing carrier quotations, negotiating transport rates and terms, and supporting cost-effective transport solutions.
• Coordinating loading and unloading activities and resolving operational issues throughout the transport process.
• Preparing, checking and processing transport documentation, including CMR consignment notes and other supporting documents.
• Coordinating with relevant partners to ensure the proper handling of customs formalities for import and export shipments.
• Updating business systems and maintaining accurate records of shipments and transport activities.
• Working closely with the Operations team and maintaining strong business relationships with customers, carriers and other business partners to ensure efficient transport execution and a high level of service.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of FTL and LTL transport processes and related documentation.
• Knowledge of Incoterms rules and international transport procedures will be considered an advantage.
• Strong organizational, communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to solve problems independently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and proactive approach, with a strong customer focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Good knowledge of MS Office; experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) will be considered an advantage.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• High School degree. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport, Business Administration, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
• Previous experience in international road freight transport or freight forwarding operations will be considered an asset.
