Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled R.O. Snow Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain snow removal equipment to ensure proper function and safety during winter operations.

**Qualifications:**

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience working with snow removal equipment such as snowplows, snow blowers, and spreaders.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
• Certification from a technical or trade school is a plus.
• Ability to work in cold weather conditions.

**Responsibilities:**

• Inspect snow removal equipment for issues and perform diagnostic tests.
• Repair and replace defective parts as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize equipment performance.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
