Job Description

  • Provide specialized care Treat patients according to the active plan of care provided by physicians and other healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Administer medication with expertise Take charge of administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies with precision and compassion, always ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Thorough documentation Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care meticulously, ensuring accurate and comprehensive patient records.
  • Empower patients and families: Educate patients and families on the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, fostering understanding and empowerment in managing their health effectively.
  • Treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel
  • Administration of prescribed medication, treatments and therapies
  • Documents all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses and coordination of care
  • Educates the patient and family regarding the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, and in meeting the patient's nursing needs.

Qualifications

RN Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona Registered Nurse License is required.
  • Active Nursing License in good standing (required)
  • Attention to Detail
  • Time Management Skills
  • Effective Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution
  • Good Organization and Effective Communication
  • Home Health Experience (preferred)

LPN/LVN Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona Licensed Practical Nurse License is required.
  • Active Nursing License in good standing (required)

  • Good Organization and Effective Communication
  • Home Health Experience (preferred)

MGA Homecare has been providing Private Duty Nursing, Skilled Nursing Visits, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy services within the home and community-based setting for over a decade. While recently opening its doors to MGA Behavior Therapy which offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and early behavior intervention for pediatric patients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities within the Colorado Springs and surrounding areas.
