Preferred: Previous nursing experience, especially in outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting
Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: Current Registered Nurse License active in the state of Missouri
The RN Triage Coordinator position is responsible for monitoring all chats, pool messages, call queues and supports the Assistant Nurse Manager. In addition, the RN Triage Coordinator is responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs via telephone contact with patient/parent/guardian when volumes support the need for additional phone support. The RN Triage Coordinator will support clinic practices by using established protocols for communication with the patient/ parents/guardian in a way that supports patient-centered care. Proper triage and escalation of cases to the clinic providers, as well as escalating any concerns related to the RN Triage team to the Assistant Nurse Manager is a key function of the position.
