Join a highly specialized Operating Room team supporting advanced robotic, transplant, oncologic, and reconstructive surgical procedures within Gynecology and Urology. This role offers exposure to a diverse case mix including kidney and uterus transplants, gender-affirming surgeries, robotic hysterectomies, prostate cancer procedures, and pelvic floor reconstruction. Nurses will complete a comprehensive 6-month orientation and receive training in both scrub and circulating roles, developing a well-rounded surgical skill set.

We're seeking a flexible, team-oriented RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn a challenging specialty. Success in this role requires adaptability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to continuous learning. You'll join a close-knit team that values collaboration, professionalism, and finding the right personality fit as much as clinical excellence.

A caregiver in this position worksfull-time day shift. Orientation is 6 months and callrotation isrequiredafter orientation.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Participate in a residency curriculum based on surgery core learning needs.

  • Provide direct nursing care, alongside a coach,in accordance withestablished healthcare organization policies, procedures and protocols.

  • Establish and revise priorities for patient care activities based on acuity of need, patient preference, and resource availability.

  • Initiate andmaintaininterventions toassurecontinuity of safe and effective care for patients.

  • Respond to dataindicatingrisk toindividual'shealth and initiate action to correct, reduce, or prevent the risk.

  • Seek supervision, consultation,assistancewhen unable to perform safely and independently.

  • Comply withestablished hospital and department personnel policies.

  • Use communication strategies intended to achieve desirable outcomes and aperceptionof satisfaction by those involved.

  • Document a patient's medical record according to established guidelines.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA)or American Red Cross

  • New graduate or less than one year RN work experienceOR ifexperience RN moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one-year current acute direct patient care RN experience

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor ofScience inNursing (BSN)

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.

  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.

  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

  • Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.

  • Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.

  • Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

  • Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
