Home of the Innocents is seeking a dedicated RN, Residential Nurse Manager to lead the nursing operations within our Residential Treatment and Emergency Shelter programs. In this role, you'll provide leadership, mentorship, and clinical oversight to ensure safe, compassionate, and person-centered care for youth with complex behavioral, emotional, and medical needs. A Day in the Life
As the RN, Residential Nurse Manager, you'll lead the Residential nursing team, providing clinical oversight, staff development, and operational support. You'll partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and positive health outcomes for youth in our Residential Treatment and Emergency Shelter programs.
Schedule: Full-time, exempt position. Primarily Monday–Friday with participation in an on-call rotation and occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
How This Position Contributes to Our Mission
• Lead Residential nursing operations and clinical services
• Supervise, coach, and develop nursing staff and CMAs
• Ensure safe, high-quality nursing care and medication management
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor resident health and respond to changes in condition
• Maintain regulatory and accreditation compliance
• Support quality improvement, safety, and infection prevention efforts
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current, unencumbered Kentucky RN license
• Five years of RN experience; psychiatric, residential, or acute care experience preferred
• Two years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (provided if needed)
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience with EHR systems
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, trauma-informed environment
• Ability to participate in on-call responsibilities as needed
