Pediatric Specialty Care at Point Pleasant is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse Supervisor to provide shift leadership and support the delivery of high-quality care to medically fragile and technology-dependent infants, children, and young adults.

This role is ideal for an experienced RN who is prepared for pediatric clinical complexity and enjoys guiding a nursing team. You’ll help nurses and direct-care staff respond confidently to residents’ changing needs while promoting strong communication, clinical standards, and consistency across the shift.

Part-Time Day and Night Opportunities

Choose the shift that best fits your availability:

  • Day shift: 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
  • Night shift: 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
  • One 12-hour shift per week
  • Every-other-weekend requirement
  • Four-week rotating schedule
  • Additional shift differential for eligible night-shift hours

What We’re Looking For

  • Current Pennsylvania RN license in good standing or an active multistate RN license with authorization to practice in Pennsylvania
  • Nursing leadership or supervisory experience
  • Clinical judgment and preparation appropriate for caring for medically complex pediatric residents
  • Strong communication, organization, and team-support skills

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do as an RN Supervisor

  • Provide clinical leadership and nursing oversight throughout the assigned shift.
  • Support nurses and direct-care team members in delivering safe, individualized care.
  • Monitor resident needs and help coordinate timely responses to changes in condition.
  • Serve as a clinical resource when team members need guidance, assistance, or escalation.
  • Promote clear communication during the shift and through change-of-shift reporting.
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary partners to maintain continuity of care.
  • Reinforce clinical standards, accountability, and a calm, well-coordinated care environment.
  • Help create a workplace where team members feel supported and residents are treated with dignity and respect.
