Position Details

• Profession: Registered Nurse
• Specialty: Labor & Delivery
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Schedule: 4x12-hour shifts
• Alternating day and night shifts may be required
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Requirements

• Active NY RN License
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience; 2 years preferred
• Epic experience is a hard requirement
• ACLS or OB-ACLS required
• BLS required
• NRP required
• EFM certification required
• Labor & Delivery experience with vaginal deliveries and C-section care
• Experience circulating and recovering C-sections
• Experience with fetal monitoring, including EFM and IUPC
• Experience with Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, Terbutaline, and postpartum hemorrhage management
• Experience with APGAR scoring, newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and neonatal resuscitation
• Experience with postpartum assessment, including fundus, lochia, and perineal care
• Must be comfortable caring for high-risk pregnancies and postpartum patients
