Take your Labor & Delivery expertise to a dynamic 13-week travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This LDRP opportunity is ideal for experienced RNs skilled in both high-risk obstetric care and postpartum mother-baby nursing, with a strong focus on safe deliveries and comprehensive maternal-newborn care.

Position Overview

• Specialty: Labor & Delivery
• Unit: LDRP / Labor & Delivery and Postpartum Mother-Baby
• Location: Auburn, NY
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts

Minimum Requirements

• Active NY RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• LDRP experience required
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• AWHONN Intermediate certification
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
• Experience with high-risk antepartum care and obstetric triage
• Experience assisting with high-risk deliveries
• C-section circulating and recovery experience
• Vaginal delivery experience
• Ability to recognize and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Experience with IUPC placement and calibration
• Experience with magnesium sulfate therapy, insulin drips, anticoagulation, and antihypertensive therapy
• Experience with postpartum hemorrhage and pregnancy-induced hypertension
• Mother-baby and newborn assessment experience
• Breastfeeding/lactation support and parent discharge teaching experience
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and complete the required telemetry assessment
