Job Duties:
Assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet the needs of the patient. Promotes adaptive responses of patient and family to achieve the highest level of patient care, promote safety, and maximize patient satisfaction. Exhibits compassionate care during patient-nurse interactions. Coordinates patient care and interaction of staff. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in their assigned nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring the very best patient and family experience by optimizing all interactions.

Unit Description
Advanced Acute Care Trauma unit is a 20 bed, private room, medical/surgical, trauma-step down/telemetry unit.We care for a diverse adult population that includes trauma, and/or medical-surgical/telemetry patients.We are newly renovated with state-of-the-art equipment and have many resources including imbedded care management/social workers, and PT/OT.Additionally, vascular access team, lift team and transport teams, as well as wound ostomy nurses support the functions of our unit.
