
This is a Full-Time benefited position working Monday-Fridays, 8-hour shifts with outpatients.
Shifts may vary as needed, but are typically 8am to 4:30pm, staggering to 6pm as needed.
Position is located at Scripps Mercy San Diego Prebys Cancer Center.

In this outpatient role, you will provide nursing care to adult patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses receiving radiation therapy. You will assist physicians with procedures including IV placement and brachytherapy treatments, while supporting patients throughout their care journey. Responsibilities include participating in new patient consultations, weekly on-treatment visits, and follow-up appointments; conducting patient assessments; developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized plans of care; and providing patient and family education related to treatment, symptom management, side effects, and ongoing care needs. You will collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure exceptional patient care and support.
Preferred Experience/Skills/Certificates:
Radiation therapy and/or oncology experience preferred.
