Day shift hours with weekday call nights and weekend call. Variable shift times.
Administers, directs, and coordinates inter- and intra-departmental activities. Work is performed in accordance with Kentucky regulations for Registered Nurses, established hospital standards, patient care services department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital, nursing and education services
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state license. BCLS required. ACLS and PALS within 3 months, not to exceed 6 months from date of hire/transfer. Certification in area of expertise preferred. EXPERIENCE: 2 years of ICU or PACU experience required.
