In this exciting and rewarding position, you will be part of the Transitional Recovery Unit (TRU) at Santa Monica UCLA. Under the direct supervision of the Unit Director of the PTU/PACU/TRU, as a Per Diem RN you will assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated timeframe and provides care to these patients via the nursing process and other input from healthcare team members. The Per Diem RN Supports the Unit Director, Assistant Unit Director, Clinical Educator, ANI Charge Nurses, and Relief Charge Nurses in the provision of efficient patient flow, problem solving, and intervention as indicated.

The Per Diem RN adheres to all aspects of leadership as described in role description. The Per Diem RN participates in committees concerning management of patient care, patient and staff safety, and process improvement. The Per Diem RN participates in promoting professional growth and development of personnel.

Salary range: $83.31-$83.31 Hourly


Job Qualifications

We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:

  • RN license required
  • BSN or MSN required
  • BLS required
  • 2 years experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or similar care environment required
  • CMSRN/PCCN certification desirable
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift, up to 35 lbs.
