The RN-Palliative Care Coordinator position Is responsible for coordinating and facilitating day-to-day operations of the Palliative Care Program to maintain safe, quality, efficient patient care. This position will assist the Palliative Care APRN with coordination of care and completion of required admission information, participation in communication with hospital staff and family for discharge planning for Palliative Care patients.
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION: Associate Degree in Nursing required (Bachelor's preferred).
EXPERIENCE: 3 years experience in medical/surgical or a specialized clinical area required. Case Management experience preferred.
CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current registered nursing (RN) license from the State of NE required. BLS and ACLS certifications required.
