Job Description

JO B TITLE RN - PACU (PRN)

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Responsible for assessing and preparing patients for Cardiac Cath, Cardiac Rhythm Management Implants, and IR procedures. Recovers, monitors and cares for post cardiac catheterization, post cardiac intervention, post peripheral angiography/intervention, post Cardiac Rhythm Management patients.

RECEIVES DIRECTION FROM Receives direction from: Providers, Anesthesia providers, Nurse Manager, Cath Lab Manager/Director and Charge Nurse.

GIVES DIRECTION TO LPN, C.N.A

EXPERIENCE

  • Pre-Post Cardiac Catheterization, preferred.
  • Tele or PACU/ICU, preferred.
  • Advanced critical thinking skills; self-motivated; adaptable to a fast-paced environment; time management, embraces change; innovative thinker focused on process, preferred.

EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATONS

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current state of PA Registered Nurse License
  • Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications required
