
Seeking Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse!
Baptist Health Floyd, Surgical Inpatient Unit
PRN (Work as Needed), Nights (7pm-7am)
Job Duties:
In this role, the RN or LPN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
About the Unit:
Surgical Inpatient Services also known as SIPS is a 32-bed unit specializing in inpatient care for post-surgical patients. LPNs and RNs work with a variety of surgical patients including total joint replacements, bariatric surgeries, and care for higher acuity cases such as post-surgical vascular and thoracic patients. The unit also accepts post-operative admissions originating from areas such as the emergency room or a physician’s office. SIPS is a wonderful unit for New Graduate LPNs and RNs who want exposure to a wide variety of patients.
Qualifications:
Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license
BLS for Healthcare provider required
Minimum of one (1) year of previous nursing experience required to hold a PRN position
