RN Oncology Clinic Nurse
Full-time, exempt position scheduled Monday through Friday from 8a - 4:30p
The Registered Nurse Oncology Clinic Nurse is responsible for supporting Medical Oncologist in the Oncology clinic.
The Registered Nurse Oncology Clinic Nurse assists with patient preparation, clinic visits, orders, follow up, education, documentation, coordination of care, data collection, procedures, and any other duties that lead to efficiency within the Oncology Clinic.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
An Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution with 10+ years of Oncology experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred on hire and required within 90 days of hire.
ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy card required within 90 days of hire.
Must obtain Oncology Certified Nurse certification within 2 years of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Outpatient Medical Oncology preferred.
