Our Residency Program transitions new graduate nurses into practice with emphasis on inter-professional, collaborative, and patient-centered care. Our comprehensive curriculum includes classroom-based training with our dynamic Nurse Education team and bedside learning with trained Preceptors. The Residency Program is a full-time, fully benefited position in which the new graduate receives orientation within the acute care areas as well as continued support after completion of the program.
TriState Health proudly promotes a 4:1 nurse to patient ratio in the inpatient unit, with an even lower ratio for critical care patients, typically 2:1 or 1:1 depending on severity of illness. Our skilled team of RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and HUCs are here to facilitate compassionate and competent patient care. We promote a culture of safety and stand as a strong asset to our community!

As the only not-for-profit, community owned and operated hospital in the Lewis Clark Valley, we take special pride in making sure your health is our first priority! Over sixty years ago, a group of dedicated community members set out to build a new, larger hospital that could serve the community and surrounding areas for years to come.
Today, the Board of Directors, administration, staff, and providers at TriState Health continue that legacy by serving a 10-county region in Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. We are a not-for-profit, community-owned hospital (since 1955), offering acute care as well as a DNV GL Healthcare USA accredited critical access facility. TriState Health is located on 11 acres at 1221 Highland Avenue in Clarkston, WA with 7 acres available for expansion. In addition to the Hospital, the campus includes various physician’s offices, Pathologists’ Regional Laboratory, Owl Tri-State Pharmacy and Evergreen Estates Retirement & Assisted Living Community, an independent and assisted living center located directly behind the hospital. The campus also includes the TriState Medical Office Building, consisting of several suites which house our medical clinics.
