Nurse Manager – Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)

Full-Time | Days | No Weekends

What You'll Do

As the Nurse Manager, you'll provide 24/7 leadership for the Med-Surg department, fostering a positive, collaborative culture where patients receive outstanding care and nurses can thrive professionally.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and support a high-performing Med-Surg team while promoting quality, safety, and patient-centered care.
• Oversee daily department operations, including staffing, scheduling, payroll, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and staff development.
• Mentor and coach nurses, helping them grow in their careers while building a strong, engaged team.
• Partner with physicians, hospital leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals and improve patient outcomes.
• Drive operational excellence while maintaining a focus on employee engagement, quality initiatives, and responsible financial stewardship.

What You'll Need

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.

Licensure

• Current Texas RN license or Compact RN License (eNLC).

Experience

• Recent Nurse Manager or Department Director experience preferred.
• Strong Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) with leadership experience who are ready to advance into a Nurse Manager role are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care Medical-Surgical nursing experience required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $40.79–$61.19/hr. (Based on years of experience
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
• Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
