The 1:1 works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) in the school and functions as a member of the team and provides specialized 1:1 health-related services for chronically ill, medically fragile, and injured students as assigned or delegated. The 1:1 nurse may require specialized training by the school nurse in accordance with written specialized health care procedures and health services protocols. The 1:1 will practice in accordance with the laws governing nursing in South Carolina and the health services policies of the school district.
Essential Duties
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
