  Oversee daily operations of the medical-surgical unit

  Ensure safe, high-quality patient care and compliance
• 
  Manage staffing, scheduling, and staff performance
• 
  Monitor patient flow, throughput, and unit efficiency
• 
  Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• 
  Serve as clinical leader and resource for nursing staff
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

  Manage budget, supplies, and resource utilization
