Responsibilities:

Socorro General Hospital is seeking a compassionate, adaptable, and team-oriented Registered Nurses to join our Medical-Surgical Unit. As a Critical Access Hospital serving the beautiful mountain community of Socorro, New Mexico, our nurses have the unique opportunity to care for a diverse patient population while developing skills across the Med Surg unit. The unit consist of 12 Med Surg beds, providing nurses with a broad scope of practice and the opportunity to expand their clinical expertise.

• Work in a 12-bed Med/Surg unit
• Develop advanced clinical skills in a supportive environment

• Critical Access Hospital experience with broad clinical exposure

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
• BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire (AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross accepted).
• Additional certifications may be required based on department assignment. (ACLS, PALS, NRP)
